AMCP Appoints Learner as Media Relations & Editorial Director

Alexandria, VA, Jan. 23, 2015 – The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) is pleased to announce that Neal Learner has been appointed media relations & editorial director. Learner returns to the Academy after serving as communications director from 2009 to 2013.

In his new capacity, Learner will engage in a wide range of AMCP activities, including media relations, social media, internal communications, marketing, membership and national meetings.

Learner is a long-time health care journalist who has written extensively about the pharmaceutical and pharmacy benefit industries. Most recently, he served as a senior editor at publications covering the Food and Drug Administration and the rollout of the Affordable Care Act.
